Jagannatha means Lord of the Universe. Ratha Yatra means Chariot Procession festival. Historically, this ancient festival honouring the Lord of the Universe was inaugurated about 2,500 years ago in Jagannatha Puri, Orissa, India. Milions of people have acquired tremendous spiritual benedictions just by seeing this unique and beautiful form of Lord Jagannatha at the annual Ratha Yatra., Today, by the mercy of A.C Bhaktivedantha Swami Prabhupada, we have the same opportunity to acquire these spiritual benediction by participating in our Seremban Jaya Ratha Yatra and experience the transcendantal loving pastimes of the Supreme Lord and His pure devotees.
On this day, we encourage offerings of incense, flowers, garlands, fruits, laxmi etc during the chariot procession. Lord Jagannatha, who is all merciful, being pleased by this simple act of devotion and will surely bestow his blessings upon us.
